The controversial divorce of reformed pastor Laszlo Tokes, vice president of the European Parliament, has been widely covered. At the trial, he was accused of having terrorized his wife, Edith Tokes, while other eyewitnesses recounted how they saw the MEP drunk, in his underwear, after having intercourse with a young woman, ziaristionline.ro writes. Moreover, even his wife revealed who the current mistress is.
Upset that Laszlo does not want to grant her a divorce, the woman revealed that her husband’s mistress is one of the assistants of the EP vice president. He is 60 and she is 22 years younger. Named Prohaszka Rad Boroka, she was born in Miercurea Ciuc and has graduated the Babes Bolyai University, she is also an assistant at the Sapienta University.
In her divorce action, Edith Tokes says that at events marking 20 years after the revolution (in 2009) in Timisoara, Prohaszka was present there. Tokes also took his mistress to Washington, when he was granted the Truman-Reagan medal when marking 20 years since the revolution. “He didn’t even tell me about this distinction. (…) I have to mention that before and during the revolution, he used me and after the revolution he abandoned me and psychologically terrorized me because I was in his way and he had got tired of his marriage,” Edith Tokes said in her divorce action.
In a statement made during the divorce trial, reformed pastor Balogh Barnabas, former advisor to Laszlo Tokes starting from 1998, recounted in detail the humiliation Edith has put up with in 25 years of marriage.
Balogh talked about the extramarital affairs of his boss, recounting one in particular: “We are at a hotel, each with his room. A few participants gathered in my room too have some wine, I went to call him, but he said he wasn’t coming and instead had me send Szabados Argentina to his room. I led her thee and he was waiting for her in bed, wearing only his trousers,” Balogh said.
